Cigar with Steve
Sunday, April 13, 2025 Drove over to Saint Paul to Stogies on Grand to get together with Steve for a cigar. He's kept a really low profile over the past 4 years or so. I've seen him a few times over the last year although he hasn't had a cigar in that time and I haven't had a cigar with him in the last 5. I think the last time was February of 2020 at Anthony's Cigar Lounge in Minneapolis, just before the pandemic. Anyway, it was good to see him and light up. I forgot my wallet so I had him buy me a stogie. He asked me what kind I wanted and I told him to get me whatever he was having which turned out to be a La Gloria Cubana.
Spring Break in Phoenlix
Sunday, April 6, 2025 Was in the Phoenix area all of last week. Had a cigar for every day we were there. Monday night. 70 degrees.outside when I lit up around 8 pm. John gave me one of his cigars that had been sitting in hi humidor for a while. It wasn't in the best shape so I only smoked half of it. Tuesday, April 1. Dale brought me to the cigar store today and I picked up 4 cigars. This one was a Camacho and it was fantastic. About 60 degrees out tonight. Wednesday, April 2. This one was a Macanudo and it was very smooth. About 55 degrees tonight. Thursday, April 3. Another Camacho. Temp in the 50s like last night but it felt so much colder due to pretty heavy winds. Hard to keep this one lit. Friday, April 4. Our last day. Our ride to the airport gets here at 3 pm. Plane doesn't leave until 7. Dale wanted plenty of time to get to thke airport. Hit 70 today and was really sunny so I had my final cigar of vacation, a Montecristo, by the pool.
