The Cigar Life

  Friday, February 14, 2025 Friday's finally here. I made it . !   It was a week of indoor recess every day for the kids, a full moon, a Valentine's day party, and conferences. Yep, they were pretty riled up this week but I managed as well as I could and it was all just fine.    The temp was up a little bit since I last smoked on Wednesday. Decided to go for a bigger cigar, an Oliva, since it was more pleasant out. I lasted about 40 minutes before I got a little too cold. Got a little shoveling in while I was outside.   Dale and I had stopped by Lunds after he picked me up from school. We just got some prepared foods from the deli and I picked up a pre-made Old Fashioned from Cork Dork.  Dale and I had drinks after my cigar and shoveling.  It was a quiet, low key, and pleasant Valentine's Day. 

 Sunday, March 24, 2024 Finished shoveling, ran inside to get another cigar.  I asked Bing to write another story. This time about a man enjoying a cigar in the garage after shoveling,                            Here's the result: "After a long session of shoveling snow, the man retreats to the solace of his garage, a place that feels like a sanctuary away from the biting cold. He leans his snow shovel against the wall, it's blade still dusted with a fine layer of snow, evidence of his labor. Sunday, March 24, 2024 We're finally getting a little snow in what has been a mostly snow deprived season.                             We're supposed to get a lot and it's a wet and heavy snow so I'm trying to keep up with it. Lit up a Romeo y Julieta and got started.  I asked Bing to write a story about a man smoking a cigar and shoveling snow.
