Dale and I went to the State Fair this morning. This afternoon I smoked a little Romeo y Julieta in the backyard after lighting up in the garage.

While smoking I continued to reminisce about the summer of 1982 which is when I began to indulge my cigar obsession. 

The appeal lay in how completely masculine it was to me.

Day Off Tomorrow

Wednesday, October 2, 2024 Not a bad day at school today and we get tomorrow off for Rosh Hashanah.                       Mom's been in the hospital since yesterday for pneumonia. After my cigar Dale and I grabbed dinner at Northbound and then headed over to Fairview to visit her. She's doing much better and she's in good spirits. Looks like they're going to keep her another night.

New Year's Eve Cigar 2024

Tuesday, December 31, 2024 Dale and I had Mike and Charisse over for NYE. While Dale and Charisse had wine inside, Mike and I lit up a couple Olivas in the garage. We lasted about 40 minutes and weren't completely finished with our cigars but the cold got to us. Note to self: assemble the damn fire pit that's been sitting in the basement and brand new in the box for the last few years.  Magic number: 204 cigars.
