August

Despite my messed up foot and the surgery I had on it and being laid up for a while I was still able to get in some cigar in August. 

My birthday's in August and snap shots from that day are what's pictured in this post.

I've really come to like Oliva cigars as one of my favorites. It's more mild that what I've smoked in years past which is what I'm now prefering more and more. I'm also moving away from maduros.

Saturday, February 11, 2023 Another great day for a cigar in the garage.   It's nice to have light after 5 p.m. Had some rum with my cigar; Plantation to be specific.  Listened to Samara Joy. Finished up my cigar as it was getting dimmer.  I went inside for cocktail hour and had a martini. Dale had some wine. And listened to some more Samara Joy. Glad to hear she won a Grammy recently.  Had the junk truck come pick up our living room sofa and chair earlier today. Thankfully we have a couple of other chairs to sit on as the new couch and chair won't be delivered until this Monday.  Nice day.

Snow and Shoveling and a Story

Sunday, March 24, 2024 We're finally getting a little snow in what has been a mostly snow deprived season.                             We're supposed to get a lot and it's a wet and heavy snow so I'm trying to keep up with it. Lit up a Romeo y Julieta and got started.  I asked Bing to write a story about a man smoking a cigar and shoveling snow.
