Had the day off for Rosh Hashanah.

Coffee outside this morning with a Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur.

I'm doing a sober-October and cigars with coffee work better for me in the morning. Afternoon cigars with coffee run me the risk of not being able to fall asleep at night. 

Today's cigar was a Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur, on of my favorites. 

Perfect leather jacket weather when I lit up shortly after 9 am. 

Wore my Open Road leather biker jacket which is a bit less heavy than my Schott Perfecto. It worked well this morning as there was some humidity in the air. 

Been a while since I've done a morning cigar. This was nice.

Saturday, February 11, 2023 Another great day for a cigar in the garage.   It's nice to have light after 5 p.m. Had some rum with my cigar; Plantation to be specific.  Listened to Samara Joy. Finished up my cigar as it was getting dimmer.  I went inside for cocktail hour and had a martini. Dale had some wine. And listened to some more Samara Joy. Glad to hear she won a Grammy recently.  Had the junk truck come pick up our living room sofa and chair earlier today. Thankfully we have a couple of other chairs to sit on as the new couch and chair won't be delivered until this Monday.  Nice day.

Snow and Shoveling and a Story

Sunday, March 24, 2024 We're finally getting a little snow in what has been a mostly snow deprived season.                             We're supposed to get a lot and it's a wet and heavy snow so I'm trying to keep up with it. Lit up a Romeo y Julieta and got started.  I asked Bing to write a story about a man smoking a cigar and shoveling snow.
