Fourth of July Cigar and Something of a Manifesto.

Lit up a cigar on this Fourth of July.

It was an Asylum 13.

This has generally been a reliably good cigar for me.

The first third of the cigar wasn't bad however it became quite bitter after that point.

These bigger cigars often burn unevenly and this one was no exception however it was also hard to keep lit and was a bit tough on the draw.
Never-the-less I kept at it so I'll give myself an A for effort.

Despite the fact that this wasn't the best cigar I certainly had fun smoking it.

I love the act of smoking a cigar.

I love lighting it up. I love how the smoke first pours into my mouth.

I love how it feels in mouth and how it coats my cheeks and tongue.

I love how it feels in my fingers.

And I love how a good cigar smells and I love how it looks. Nothing is more masculine and butch.

Happy 4th of July.
